Best Yumuuv Alternative – Woliba

Woliba starts from just $2/mo/employee.

If YuMuuv is not meeting your needs, it may be time to look elsewhere. Maybe your corporate wellness program has outgrown step challenges. Maybe you need pulse surveys to prove ROI, a rewards catalogue you do not have to fulfil by hand, or an SSO connection your IT team will approve. Or maybe you just want published pricing before you sit through a sales call.

YuMuuv does one thing well. This guide covers what to use when you need more than that one thing, including honest notes on pricing transparency and which vendors have changed hands recently.

What is YuMuuv?

YuMuuv is a wellness challenge app for employers, built by YuMuuv OÜ in Tartu, Estonia and founded in 2019.

Admins create time-boxed challenges. Employees join, and the app pulls activity data automatically from their phone or wearable. Leaderboards rank individuals and teams, and HR gets exportable participation statistics.

The platform supports 19 challenge types, including steps, sleep, plank, yoga, running, cycling, mindfulness, water intake, book reading, car-free days, and fully custom challenges.

It syncs with Apple Health, Google Fit, Health Connect, Garmin, Fitbit, Polar, Suunto, Strava, Oura and Withings, though several brands including Samsung, Huawei, COROS and Amazfit only connect indirectly through Health Connect or Apple Health.

YuMuuv is well reviewed. It holds 4.6 out of 5 on G2 from 1,115 reviews and 4.7 out of 5 on Capterra from 259 reviews. Employees generally find it easy to use, and the challenge experience is the most praised part of the product.

Why teams look for YuMuuv alternatives

Most switches come down to scope. YuMuuv is a challenge app, not a wellbeing platform, and the gaps become visible once a program matures.

No rewards fulfilment. YuMuuv states this plainly in its own help centre: “YuMuuv does not manage or distribute prizes. Prize logistics are entirely handled by the company or organizer running the challenge.” Admins can type a prize description, but there is no points store, gift card catalogue or reward marketplace. Someone on your team does that work manually.

No peer recognition. There is no recognition module. YuMuuv’s own blog advises running recognition outside the app, suggesting a “company-wide email, the HR portal, or a Slack channel” and printed certificates.

No pulse surveys. The help centre covers challenges, progress, statistics, inbox, teams and user management. There is no survey or eNPS section, which makes it hard to measure sentiment or build a business case.

No content library or coaching. There are no courses, videos, articles or webinars, and no health coaching. YuMuuv’s own comparison page treats these as things competitors do rather than features it offers.

Limited beyond fitness. Sleep, water, mindfulness and finance exist as challenge formats you log and get ranked on, not as programs with content or support. An enterprise reviewer on G2 put it directly: “It focuses heavily on activity challenges, but doesn’t always integrate broader wellness areas like nutrition, mindfulness, or financial wellbeing.”

Admin and IT friction. YuMuuv confirms it “does not currently support direct CSV bulk user import.” SSO and HRIS connections are not documented and require contacting support. There is no published API documentation and no Slack or Microsoft Teams app.

Sales-gated pricing. The pricing page is a calculator that returns “Custom” and “Contact sales team.” No numeric prices are published.

Best Yumuuv Alternative – Woliba

Woliba starts from just $2/mo/employee.

How We Evaluated These Platforms

Every platform on this list was checked against five criteria:

Is it actually still available? Two widely recommended YuMuuv alternatives are not what they appear to be. MoveSpring no longer exists as a standalone product; movespring redirects to Reward Gateway, and the product is now Wellbeing+. Walker Tracker is also gone as a brand, absorbed into Terryberry after a 2022 acquisition. We list both under their current names.

Scope beyond challenges. Since scope is the main reason teams leave YuMuuv, we looked for recognition, surveys, content, coaching and reporting.

Pricing transparency. Vendor-published figures are cited directly. Where only review directories publish a number, it is labelled. Where nothing is published, we say so rather than estimating.

Review quality, not just score. Review counts and who wrote them matter. Most wellness platform reviews come from employees using the app, not the HR buyer who chose it, so high scores often measure app likeability rather than platform depth.

Integrations and admin load. Wearable coverage, SSO, HRIS, Slack and Teams, and how much manual work the platform leaves behind.

1. Woliba — Best Overall YuMuuv Alternative

Woliba is the most complete YuMuuv alternative. It covers the challenge experience YuMuuv does well, then adds the recognition, surveys, content and reporting that YuMuuv leaves to you.

Where YuMuuv is a challenge app you run alongside four other tools, Woliba is designed to replace those tools. That makes it the natural next step for teams whose program has outgrown leaderboards.

woliba corporate wellness platform

What Makes Woliba Better Than YuMuuv

Rewards and recognition are built in. YuMuuv explicitly does not distribute prizes, so every gift card and every certificate is manual HR work. Woliba includes peer-to-peer recognition and a rewards system inside the platform. This is the single biggest difference in day-to-day admin time.

Pulse surveys and sentiment analytics. YuMuuv has no survey capability, which means no eNPS, no sentiment tracking, and no straightforward way to show leadership that the program worked. Woliba includes pulse surveys and engagement reporting, so participation data and sentiment data sit in the same dashboard.

A real wellness content library. YuMuuv has no articles, videos, recipes or learning modules. Woliba includes an on-demand wellness hub. This matters because content is what employees use between challenges, and it is what keeps a program alive in the quiet months.

Coverage across 12 wellbeing pillars. YuMuuv’s non-fitness options are challenge formats you log and rank. Woliba treats physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual, financial, environmental, occupational, intellectual, nutritional, purpose and longevity as program areas with supporting content. That difference decides whether you reach only the employees who were already active.

You only pay for active users. Woliba bills on monthly active users rather than total headcount. Since wellness participation typically runs 30 to 50 percent of a workforce, this is the same pricing logic that makes YuMuuv affordable, applied to a much broader platform.

Under an hour of admin a month. Automated challenges, nudges and reporting are the design goal, compared with YuMuuv’s manual prize fulfilment, no bulk CSV import, and recognition handled in email.

When to Choose Woliba Over YuMuuv

Pick Woliba if you need:

  • Rewards and recognition handled in-platform rather than by hand
  • Surveys and analytics to prove the program is working
  • Content between challenges so engagement does not drop to zero
  • Wellbeing beyond fitness, including financial, mental and nutritional support
  • One platform instead of four, with automation that keeps admin under an hour a month

Woliba is the best overall YuMuuv alternative for teams that liked the challenges but need a full program around them.

Woliba starts from just $2/mo/employee.

2. Wellable — Best for Vendor-Managed Programs

Wellable is the closest competitor to YuMuuv on price and the strongest option if you want someone else to run your program. It has the largest verified review base in this category at 1,254 G2 reviews.

wellable

Key features: 40+ configurable challenges across physical, mental, financial and social wellbeing. Bright Breaks, acquired in November 2025, delivers 250+ live micro-sessions a week scheduled straight into calendars. A rewards and recognition module launched in July 2025 with gift cards from 800+ brands in 55+ countries. Clinical event verification for physicals and vaccinations, plus biometric screenings.

Pricing: $1.25 per user per month at 500 users, billed monthly on a standard one-year contract with a one-time implementation fee and a 25-user minimum. No free plan or self-serve trial.

Ratings: G2 4.7/5 (1,254 reviews). Capterra 4.8/5 (50 reviews).

Strength: Customer success is the standout. One Capterra reviewer wrote: “the cost of Wellable was 50% less than competitors and you get a better product (and service!)”

Weakness: Device sync complaints mirror YuMuuv’s. G2 aggregates 67 sync complaints and 51 about the points system.

Best for: US SMB and mid-market teams from 25 to 5,000 employees with no dedicated wellness headcount.

3. Vantage Fit — Best Budget Option for Global Teams

Vantage Fit is the most direct like-for-like swap for YuMuuv, and it publishes its prices.

vantage fit

Key features: 14+ languages with Slack and Teams integration, built for multinational and APAC-heavy workforces. Wellness Leagues group employees by activity level so less active staff are not competing against marathon runners, which addresses a common complaint about leaderboards. AI squat tracker, mood check-ins, hydration and nutrition logging. An Organisational Wellness Score rolls activity up to a company-level metric.

Pricing (published, at 250 employees): A single four-week challenge costs $2,000 on Basic or $2,500 on Pro. Unlimited annual access is $4,000/year on Basic (about $1.33/user/month) or $5,000/year on Pro. Volume discounts run from 25 to 1,000+ users. Free pilot via demo.

Ratings: G2 4.5/5 (567 reviews). Capterra 4.5/5 (97 reviews), with customer service the weakest sub-score at 4.2.

Strength: Automatic step sync with no manual input, at a price close to YuMuuv’s.

Weakness: The same gaming problem. One Capterra reviewer wrote: “not tracking well, and people are forging.” Battery drain and treadmill miscounts also come up.

Best for: Mid-market and enterprise multinationals from 250 to 5,000+ that want cheap, high-participation challenges. Thin on clinical depth and coaching.

4. Wellness Coach — Best for Coaching Inside Slack, Teams and Zoom

If YuMuuv’s lack of coaching is your issue, this is the most direct fix. It also solves the collaboration-tool gap, since YuMuuv has no Slack or Teams app.

Key features: Native apps inside Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Slack. Platform available in 100+ languages with live 1:1 coaching in 30+. Hundreds of human coaches across roughly 16 categories, plus a 24/7 AI coach. Team challenges including walking, hydration and burnout. Modular add-ons for GLP-1 weight management, counselling and EAP including dependents, and ClassPass-powered global gym access.

Pricing (published): Starter+ $6, Premium $12, All Access $18 per user per month. Annual billing saves around 20 percent, with no setup fee. The first 10 Starter+ licenses are always free, and self-serve checkout is available under 100 employees, which makes pilots easy.

Ratings: G2 4.7/5 (108 reviews).

Strength: Range and speed of setup. One G2 reviewer noted: “There is a wide range of services offered: from challenges and audiobooks to daily short meditations and group coaching sessions… Implementing Wellness Coach is easy and quick.”

Weakness: Notification frequency draws comments, and session costs can fall to employees once company credits run out.

Best for: Distributed multilingual teams from 500 to 5,000+ wanting mental health, nutrition and fitness from one vendor.

5. Terryberry (Be Well) — Best for Wellness Plus Recognition

Now branded Be Well by Terryberry. If you previously shortlisted Walker Tracker, this is where it went after the April 2022 acquisition.

This is the strongest answer to YuMuuv’s missing recognition layer, because recognition is Terryberry’s core business rather than an add-on.

Terryberry

Key features: An activity converter covering 120+ exercises with explicit wheelchair accessibility, which is more inclusive than step-only scoring. Map-based virtual challenges with in-challenge chat. One-time, subscription-free challenges, which is rare and directly matches YuMuuv’s no-commitment appeal. Bundled recognition, service awards, a rewards catalogue and eNPS on one contract. 150+ audio guides across 40+ mental health topics.

Pricing: $3.75 per participant per month, stated by Terryberry. No free trial and no free version. No pricing page on the site; access is demo-gated. Rewards budget is a separate line item.

Ratings: G2 4.6/5 (191 reviews), but note these are company-level and mostly reflect recognition and service awards. The wellness-specific Capterra listing has just 3 reviews at 4.3/5.

Strength: One vendor for wellness, recognition and service awards. A Capterra reviewer noted it works well for dispersed staff: “given that our staff are spread out all of the country it gives us an opportunity to have corporate wide challenges.”

Weakness: Data integrity again. A March 2026 G2 reviewer wrote: “The challenges can be misleading as to acknowledging the legitimacy of the user’s progress.”

Best for: Mid-market and enterprise teams from 51 to 1,000+ that want wellness and recognition on one contract.

6. Wellhub — Best for Global Gym Network Acces

Formerly Gympass, rebranded in April 2024. This is a different model to YuMuuv entirely: instead of tracking activity, it pays for access to it.

Key features: Around 100,000 gym, studio and partner locations across 18 countries, plus 59 wellbeing apps at higher tiers. Five dimensions covering fitness, mindfulness, therapy, nutrition and sleep. Shared-cost economics where the employer pays a corporate fee and employees self-fund upgrades, which Wellhub says drives 3 to 5 times higher enrolment. Family Wellness for up to three members. International check-ins for travel.

Pricing (published on both sides, unusually transparent): Employer cost per employee per month runs Entry $0.50–$3, Full $7–$10, Premium $49–$52, varying by headcount. Employee-paid tiers range from a free Digital tier up to $344.99/month. No enrolment or cancellation fees. Prices increased on 1 January 2026.

Ratings: G2 4.1/5 (59 reviews). Trustpilot 4/5 from around 4,701 reviews.

Strength: Cost control. An HR director wrote on G2: “The best part is we will never pay for more than 50% of our employee headcount.”

Weakness: Annual price rises and support responsiveness. One reviewer flagged “unexpected price increases that happen every year,” another that “customer support is honestly really difficult to get ahold of.”

Best for: Multinationals from 500 to 10,000+ with on-site or hybrid staff where physical gym access is the main request.

Best Yumuuv Alternative – Woliba

Woliba starts from just $2/mo/employee.

7. Personify Health — Best for Enterprise Benefits Consolidation

Formed from the personify health and HealthComp merger in November 2023 and rebranded in February 2024. The Virgin Pulse brand no longer exists.

Key features: A single platform spanning wellbeing, third-party administration and navigation, including benefits admin, claims administration, care advocacy and cost transparency in one member app. PercyIQ AI personalisation launched in 2026. Care and condition management with two Validation Institute-certified savings studies. A partner marketplace and developer portal. Gamified points, gift cards and HRA reporting.

Pricing: Not published. Capterra lists four editions, all quote-only, with no free trial or free version. Third-party “$5–$12 PEPM” figures circulating online are unverified and should not be relied on.

Ratings: G2 4.3/5 (112 reviews). Note that many reviews date to 2023 under the Virgin Pulse brand and most come from employees rather than admins.

Strength: Breadth. One G2 reviewer wrote: “the ecosystem they have built is 1 of 1.”

Weakness: Support and setup. A March 2026 enterprise reviewer rated it 0.5/5: “Support issues are slow to respond and they never get fixed. I’ve had gift card issues twice and lost out on the money. The initial setup wasn’t easy.”

Best for: Large enterprises of 1,000+, ideally 5,000+, especially US self-funded employers. Poor SMB fit.

8. Wellics — Best for Measuring Wellbeing

Wellics is the clearest answer to YuMuuv’s missing measurement layer, though vendor size is a genuine consideration.

Key features: The Wellics Index, a daily AI-computed 0–100 score across sleep, mental health, activity and nutrition that rolls up to an organisational view. WellVox, a 30-second voice-based assessment flagging stress and burnout risk. A corporate assessment built on established academic frameworks. Expert micro-coaching video modules. Custom metrics such as Glassdoor rating and absenteeism tied to goals.

Pricing: $5.00 per user per month on annual billing with no setup fees, capped at 100 users and 4 modules on Basic; Professional is quote-only. These figures come from review directories, as the vendor’s own pricing page is now demo-gated. Free trial availability is reported inconsistently across sources.

Ratings: G2 4.5/5 from 1 review; Capterra 4.0/5 from 1 review. Treat as non-representative.

Strength: A Capterra reviewer noted: “the videos are short and to the point, helping our employees with practical tips.”

Weakness: Limited customisation and only two catalogued integrations. Tracxn lists roughly 9 employees as of March 2026, which is worth weighing if vendor stability matters to procurement.

Best for: UK and EU SMBs from 10 to 500 employees wanting a measurable wellbeing score. Not suited to enterprise procurement.

9. Burnalong — Best for On-Demand Class Libraries

If the gap you feel most is YuMuuv’s total absence of content, Burnalong is the specialist. YuMuuv’s own comparison page concedes the library while criticising the sync: “While Burnalong offers an extensive library of wellness videos, it lacks features like automated data sync and device integration.”

Burnalong

Key features: 30,000+ live and on-demand classes across 60+ wellness categories. Machine learning recommends classes based on individual goals. Social features let employees invite family members and take classes together. Coverage spans fitness, nutrition, mental health, financial wellness and chronic condition support.

Pricing: $3–$6 per employee per month according to third-party sources. Not published by the vendor. Free demo available.

Ratings: Listed on G2, Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice, but we could not verify a current aggregate score. Confirm directly before shortlisting.

Strength: Content depth and variety no challenge-first platform matches, including family access.

Weakness: Weaker on automated activity tracking and device integration, which is the opposite trade-off to YuMuuv.

Best for: Mid-market and enterprise teams wanting content breadth and family inclusion.

10. WellSteps — Best for Outcomes-Based Behavior Change

WellSteps sits at the clinical and outcomes end of the market, built around measurable behaviour change rather than engagement for its own sake.

WellSteps

Key features: Behaviour-change campaigns grounded in health promotion research. Health risk assessments and biometric screening support, neither of which YuMuuv offers.

Incentive design and tracking. Published outcomes and cost-trend research. Wellness program consulting alongside the software.

Pricing: From $0.50 per employee per month according to third-party sources, scaling with organisation size and package. Not published on the vendor site. Free demo available.

Ratings: Consistently strong at 4.8 to 4.9 out of 5 across G2, Capterra, TrustRadius and GetApp. Some cost concerns appear on G2 depending on scale.

Strength: Among the few vendors publishing outcomes research, which helps when you need to justify spend to a CFO.

Weakness: More clinical and less playful than YuMuuv. Teams looking for a fun step challenge may find it heavy.

Best for: US mid-market and enterprise employers with health plan cost goals and a real measurement mandate.

Best Yumuuv Alternative – Woliba

Woliba starts from just $2/mo/employee.

11. CoreHealth by Carebook — Best White-Label Platfor

Acquired by Carebook in August 2021 and now trading as CoreHealth by Carebook. This is the option if you are a provider, broker or reseller rather than an end employer.

CoreHealth by Carebook

Key features: Fully white-labelled, so the platform carries your brand rather than the vendor’s. CoreHealth Pro is highly configurable for building custom programs and third-party integrations. Backed by 25+ years in the market, supporting over 4.5 million individuals. Serves Fortune 500 companies as well as wellness providers.

Pricing: Not published. Quote-based, reflecting the configurable model. Free demo available.

Ratings: Listed on G2 and Capterra. Verify current scores directly.

Strength: Configurability and white-labelling that no challenge-first app offers.

Weakness: Overkill for a single employer that just wants to run challenges. Implementation is a project, not a signup.

Best for: Wellness providers, brokers, insurers and large enterprises needing a branded platform.

12. Headspace for Work — Best for Mental Health Depth

YuMuuv offers mindfulness as a challenge you log. Headspace offers mindfulness as a clinical product.

Headspace for Work

Key features: A large library of guided meditation, sleep content and mindfulness courses. Mental health coaching and therapy available through the broader Headspace offering. Strong consumer-grade app quality and brand recognition, which helps adoption. Clinical evidence base behind the content.

Pricing: Not published. Enterprise pricing is customised by organisation size. Free demo available.

Ratings: Listed on G2 and SourceForge. Confirm current scores directly.

Strength: Employees usually already know and trust the brand, which lowers the barrier to first use.

Weakness: No challenges, no leaderboards, no recognition and no engagement layer. This is a complement to a wellness platform, not a replacement for one.

Best for: Any size of company where mental health is the priority and an engagement platform already exists.

13. Calm Business — Best for Sleep and Stress Content

Calm Business

Key features: Sleep Stories, meditations and relaxation content. Stress and resilience programs. Manager and leadership resources. Very high app store ratings and broad brand familiarity.

Pricing: Calm business not published. One third-party source cites an annual figure of around $63.78 per employee, which we could not verify and would not rely on. Request a quote.

Ratings: Widely reviewed as a consumer app; verify business-tier ratings directly.

Strength: Sleep content is genuinely differentiated, and sleep is one of the wellbeing areas most affected by remote and shift work.

Weakness: Same limitation as Headspace. It is a content subscription, not a wellness platform, with no challenges or reporting on participation.

Best for: Companies of any size adding a mental health benefit alongside an existing platform.

14. Wellbeing+ by Reward Gateway — Best for Existing Reward Gateway Customers

Important: this is what MoveSpring became. MoveSpring was acquired by Reward Gateway in 2022. If you find MoveSpring recommended elsewhere, this is the current product.

Reward Gateway

Key features: Any-activity challenges and habit streaks covering hydration, meditation and personal habits. Personal monthly step goals with year-over-year tracking. Built-in charitable giving with in-app donations and peer-to-peer fundraising. A wellbeing calendar and Benefits Spotlights that surface your existing benefits inside the app to lift utilisation.

Pricing: Not published. Demo only, no free plan or trial. Third-party figures for this product are contradictory and should not be quoted.

Ratings: The G2 listing has 1 review and no aggregate rating, so there is effectively no independent social proof for the current product.

Strength: Charitable giving and benefits promotion are genuinely distinctive, and it consolidates cleanly if you already use Reward Gateway.

Weakness: Not realistically purchasable as a standalone challenge tool, and the near-absent review base makes independent evaluation difficult.

Best for: Organisations of 500+ already using Reward Gateway for discounts or recognition.

15. Sonic Boom Wellness — Best for Heavily Gamified Engagement

Sonic Boom Wellness acquired by Premise Health in February 2021 and still marketed as a product.

sonic wellness

Key features: Gaming mechanics and social challenges built for high participation. Unlimited custom contests. Family participation so spouses and dependents can join. A distinctly playful tone compared with clinical platforms.

Pricing: Not published. Quote-based.

Ratings: Listed on Gartner Peer Insights and FeaturedCustomers. Reviews are mixed, and some commentary suggests the Premise Health acquisition affected product direction. Verify current status and roadmap directly with the vendor.

Strength: Gamification depth and family inclusion, which lifts participation rates.

Weakness: Post-acquisition direction is unclear, and there is limited recent independent review evidence.

Best for: US mid-market and enterprise employers prioritising participation rates above analytics.

Best Yumuuv Alternative – Woliba

Woliba starts from just $2/mo/employee.

How to Choose the Right YuMuuv Alternative

Work through these five questions in order.

1. What is actually missing? Be specific. “We need better engagement” leads nowhere. “We spend six hours a month buying and mailing gift cards” points straight at platforms with built-in rewards. “Our CFO wants proof” points at survey and analytics capability.

2. Is your program challenge-only or broader? If challenges are all you will ever run, YuMuuv is genuinely competitive and switching may not be worth it. If you are heading toward mental health, financial wellbeing and recognition, you need a platform, and Woliba, Wellable or Wellness Coach are the shortlist.

3. How much admin time do you have? This is the most underrated criterion. Manual prize fulfilment, no bulk import and no SSO all cost hours every month. Ask each vendor to walk you through onboarding 500 employees and distributing 50 rewards, then time it.

4. What is your pricing model? Per-active-user billing suits wellness, because participation rarely exceeds half your headcount. Woliba and YuMuuv both bill this way. Per-headcount platforms cost more for the same participation. Wellhub’s shared-cost model is different again and worth modelling separately.

5. Will IT approve it? Ask about SSO, SCIM, HRIS sync, API documentation and data residency before you fall for a demo. YuMuuv requires a support conversation for all of these. Enterprise buyers should confirm in writing.

Final Verdict: Which YuMuuv Alternative Should You Choose?

For most teams: Woliba is the best overall alternative. It keeps what works about YuMuuv, then adds rewards, recognition, surveys, content and analytics, so you stop running a wellness program across four disconnected tools. It also publishes pricing and bills active users only.

For teams that want it run for them: Wellable, which has the largest verified review base and consistently strong customer success feedback.

For the tightest budgets: Vantage Fit, at roughly $1.33 per user per month with published pricing and 14+ language support.

For coaching and mental health: Wellness Coach, with live coaching in 30+ languages inside Slack, Teams and Zoom, and the first 10 licenses free.

For recognition alongside wellness: Terryberry, which brings service awards and eNPS on the same contract.

For gym access: Wellhub, if physical locations rather than activity tracking are what employees are asking for.

For large enterprises: Personify Health if you are consolidating benefits administration, or CoreHealth by Carebook if you need a white-labelled platform.

For measurement: Wellics for wellbeing scoring and burnout risk, or WellSteps if you need published outcomes research for a CFO.

For content depth: Burnalong for classes, Headspace for Work or Calm Business for mental health, though all three are complements to a platform rather than replacements.

YuMuuv is not a weak product. It is a focused one, and it does challenges well at a fair price. The question is whether challenges are your whole program. If they are, staying put is reasonable. If your program is growing into recognition, surveys, content and reporting, you will end up buying those pieces separately or moving to a platform that already includes them.
